Benefits of Bond University Excellence Scholarship

The Bond University Excellence Scholarship offers significant benefits to outstanding students.

As an Excellence Scholar, you will receive a 50% tuition remission, applicable to any single or approved combined undergraduate degree. However, this benefit excludes the Bond Medical Program and Diploma entry students.

Additionally, you have the flexibility to commence your studies in the January, May, or September semester, providing convenience and choice in planning your academic journey.

Requirements for Bond University Excellence Scholarship

To be eligible for the Bond University Excellence Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Citizenship/Residency: For the country of residency eligibility criteria, you need to fall in at least one of these categories:
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident who is currently completing or has completed Year 12 (or equivalent) inside or outside of Australia OR
  • Be an Australian permanent resident completing or completed high school outside Australia, OR
  • Be an international student completing or completed Year 12 (or equivalent) in Australia
  1. Academic Achievement: You should achieve a minimum ATAR of 92.00 or an IB Diploma score of 34.
  2. Leadership and Service: Hold a demonstrated record of leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community
  3. Program Entry Requirements: Meet the standard entry requirements for your chosen program of study
  4. Timing of Year 12 Completion: Your completion for year 12 must not be over a year (12 months) before program commencement. In addition, you must not have commenced any post-secondary studies.

Application Documents

To apply for the Excellence Scholarship, you are required to submit the following documents:

  1. Evidence of Leadership, Initiative, and Service:
  • Use the provided Summary of Achievements template to present evidence of your leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community. This template must be completed in full and uploaded to your scholarship application as a single Word or PDF document.
  • Your application will not be considered if you provide evidence in any other form, such as a personal CV or resume.
  1. Academic Responses: Respond to the following two questions with 250-word academic responses in paragraph form:
  • Describe a situation where you were unsuccessful and what you learned from it.
  • Reflect on a successful team experience you were involved in and discuss what made your team successful.

Draft your responses in a Word document and then copy and paste them into the relevant fields in your application.

  1. School Reference: Provide your career advisor’s details as part of your application. The scholarship committee will contact them directly to request a reference.
