2024 FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship for Students Worldwide

Numerix has announced the 2024 FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship, continuing its commitment to fostering female talent in the capital markets. This prestigious scholarship encourages and supports women pursuing graduate-level studies in financial asset management, market risk management, fixed-income, and derivatives finance.

Each year, one outstanding woman is awarded US$20,000 to help further her education and career. The award is distributed with 50% given directly to the recipient and the remaining 50% allocated to her educational institution to assist with tuition.

Launched in 2014 and carried forward by Numerix after their 2023 acquisition of FINCAD, this scholarship exemplifies our dedication to empowering the next generation of female leaders in finance.

Requirements for FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship

To be eligible for this program, you need to meet the following requirements:

1. Enrolment in a Full-Time Master’s or PhD Finance Program:

The first and most important requirement is to be actively enrolled and attending a full-time graduate program (Master’s or PhD) in finance.

2. Commencement of Studies Between January 1, 2024, and February 1, 2025:

Eligible candidates must have started their studies within this specific time frame. This program is tailored to support candidates who are either just beginning or in the early stages of their graduate program.

3. Work Experience Requirements:

In addition to the enrolment criteria, you must have less than 10 years of total work experience and no more than 5 years of professional experience in the financial field.

4. Female Citizenship and Enrolment in an Accredited University:

The scholarship is open to female citizens of any country, provided they are enrolled in a postgraduate Finance program at an accredited university.
